Booking Process

  • Residents can reserve their preferred room by contacting MyRoomiee through our website, phone, WhatsApp, or by visiting the property.
  • Room availability is confirmed only after verification by the management team.
  • Booking requests are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • A booking is considered confirmed only after the required booking amount or security deposit has been successfully received and acknowledged by MyRoomiee.

Reservation Confirmation

  • Once payment and required documents are received, a booking confirmation will be shared through WhatsApp, email, or SMS.
  • The confirmation includes the selected property, room type, move-in date, and payment details.
  • Residents are advised to carefully review the confirmation and notify us immediately if any information is incorrect.

Booking Validity

  • Confirmed bookings are held until the agreed move-in date.
  • If the resident is unable to move in on the scheduled date, MyRoomiee should be informed in advance.
  • Failure to communicate delays may result in cancellation of the reservation, depending on room demand and availability.

Availability

  • All rooms displayed on the website are subject to real-time availability.
  • While every effort is made to keep listings updated, availability may change due to recent bookings or maintenance activities.
  • MyRoomiee reserves the right to offer an equivalent accommodation if the originally selected room becomes unavailable before move-in.

Cancellation Before Move-in

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted directly to the MyRoomiee management team.
  • Refund eligibility, if applicable, will be processed according to the Refund Policy.
  • Processing times may vary depending on the payment method used.

  • Harassment, discrimination, abusive language, intimidation, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

Check-in & Move-in

  • Check-in timings are communicated during booking confirmation.
  • Residents should complete all required documentation before moving into the property.
  • Room allocation is carried out by the management team and may vary depending on operational requirements.

Cleanliness

  • Residents are expected to maintain personal hygiene and keep their rooms clean and organized.
  • Common areas should always be kept neat after use.
  • Intentional damage, excessive dirt, or misuse of shared facilities may result in additional cleaning or repair charges.

Peaceful Environment

  • Residents should maintain reasonable noise levels, especially during late evening and early morning hours.
  • Loud music, parties, or activities disturbing other residents are not permitted within the property.

Property Care

  • Furniture, appliances, and property fixtures should be used responsibly.
  • Residents will be held responsible for any intentional damage beyond normal wear and tear.

Safety & Security

  • Residents should always lock their rooms when leaving.

At MyRoomiee, we strive to provide a comfortable, secure, and hassle-free living experience for students and working professionals. Depending on the selected property and room category, the following facilities may be included as part of your accommodation package.

Fully Furnished Rooms

Every room is thoughtfully designed to provide a comfortable living environment and may include:

  • Comfortable bed with mattress
  • Personal wardrobe or storage space
  • Study table and chair (selected properties)
  • Ceiling fan and adequate lighting
  • Air-conditioned or Non-AC room options

Parking

Third-Party Services

Government Charges

Residents are responsible for any government-imposed fees, taxes, verification charges, registration costs, or statutory payments applicable under local laws.

Force Majeure

MyRoomiee shall not be held responsible for service interruptions caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Floods
  • Fire
  • Power grid failures
  • Internet outages
  • Government restrictions
  • Public emergencies
  • Strikes or civil disturbances

Non-Compliance

Legal Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from accommodation, agreements, or related services shall be governed by the applicable laws of India and shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts where the property is located, unless otherwise required by law.

To reserve a room or bed at MyRoomiee, residents may be required to pay a booking token amount. The token payment helps temporarily reserve the selected accommodation while completing the booking process.

Purpose of Token Payment

The booking token confirms the resident's intention to reserve a specific room or bed and temporarily blocks its availability for other prospective residents.

Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only after:

  • Payment of the applicable booking token (if required).
  • Submission of the necessary documents.
  • Successful verification by the MyRoomiee team.
  • Confirmation from the property management.

MyRoomiee reserves the right to decline or cancel a booking if verification requirements are not fulfilled.

Reservation Period

After receiving the booking token, the selected accommodation may be reserved for a limited period as communicated during the booking process.

If the remaining formalities or balance payments are not completed within the specified time, MyRoomiee may release the reservation without further notice.

Token Payment Adjustment

Unless otherwise communicated, the booking token may be adjusted against the resident's security deposit, advance rent, or initial payment at the time of move-in.

The adjustment policy may vary depending on the selected property.

Cancellation by Resident

If the resident chooses to cancel the booking before move-in, the refundability of the booking token shall depend on the cancellation policy communicated at the time of booking.

Where the booking token is designated as non-refundable, no refund shall be processed after confirmation of the reservation.

Cancellation by MyRoomiee

If MyRoomiee is unable to provide the confirmed accommodation due to operational reasons or unforeseen circumstances, the resident may be offered:

  • An alternative accommodation (subject to availability), or
  • A refund of eligible booking payments, where applicable.

Payment Methods

Booking token payments may be accepted through secure payment methods including:

Residents should make payments only through officially communicated payment channels.

Fraud Prevention

Residents are advised not to make payments to any unauthorized individual or third-party account claiming to represent MyRoomiee.

MyRoomiee shall not be responsible for payments made to unauthorized persons or fraudulent accounts.

Residents are responsible for paying their accommodation charges on time throughout the duration of their stay.

Monthly Rent

Due Date

Rent should be paid on or before the due date communicated by MyRoomiee or specified in the rental agreement.

Partial Payments

Partial payments may not be accepted unless specifically approved by MyRoomiee in writing.

Outstanding balances must be cleared within the timeline communicated by the management.

Security Deposit

The security deposit, where applicable, is separate from monthly rent and shall not be treated as rent unless expressly approved in writing.

Rent Revisions

Rent may be revised upon renewal of the accommodation agreement or as otherwise agreed between the resident and property management.

Residents will be informed in advance of any applicable changes.

Failed Transactions

Residents are responsible for ensuring successful payment transactions.

If a payment fails due to banking issues, insufficient balance, or technical errors, the resident remains responsible for completing the payment before the due date.

Taxes & Government Charges

Applicable taxes, statutory charges, or government fees, if any, shall be payable in accordance with prevailing laws.

Payment Confirmation

Residents should preserve payment acknowledgements and transaction references until the payment has been successfully reflected in their account.

In case of any discrepancy, residents should promptly contact MyRoomiee support with relevant payment details.

  • Timely rent payments help ensure uninterrupted accommodation services.
  • Continuous non-payment or repeated payment defaults may result in action as permitted under the rental agreement and applicable laws.

The applicable security deposit amount will be communicated during the booking process and may vary depending on the selected property, room type, and duration of stay.

Purpose of Security Deposit

The security deposit serves as a safeguard against unpaid dues, damage beyond normal wear and tear, loss of property items, or any outstanding financial obligations at the time of vacating the accommodation.

The deposit is not considered monthly rent and cannot be adjusted against rent unless specifically approved in writing by the management.

Payment

The security deposit should be paid before or at the time of check-in, using one of the approved payment methods communicated by MyRoomiee.

Residents are advised to retain proof of payment for future reference.

Deposit Refund

Subject to the terms of the rental agreement, the security deposit may be refunded after the resident vacates the property, provided that:

  • All outstanding dues have been cleared.
  • The room and provided furniture are returned in satisfactory condition.
  • All keys, access cards, and property belongings have been returned.
  • No additional charges remain pending.

Inspection Process
